Holmes Sweet Home (HSH) was founded in 2017 by Samotria "Sam" Holmes, a lifelong baker and cook who was inspired by her grandmother's recipes and her parents' entrepreneurial spirit to bring her own candy and dessert sauce recipes to light.

Sam's passion for candy-making began as a 5th grader when her teacher taught the class how sugar could be transformed into lollipops!  Since then, she was first in line to help her grandmother make anything sweet; pecan chocolate chip cookies, lemon meringue pie, sour cream pound cake, Charleston chewies and of course peanut brittle.

Holmes Sweet Home crafts retail ready dessert sauces and artisan brittles that are the perfect addition to specialty grocers & retailers, gift shops and gift basket partners.  Our brittles and dessert sauces are also available for food service and can be ordered in bulk.

All of the HSH artisan brittles and dessert sauces are made with whole ingredients for a pure taste.  We are proud to offer a variety of treats that include items that are gluten free, soy free, palm free and vegan.

MORE ABOUT SAM

​

Prior to embarking on a career in sweets, Sam graduated with a B.S. of Science in Marketing from Clemson University and began a career in technology sales.  She spent the following 10 years with global leader in specialty technology, Scansource, Inc. where she was an executive account manager in Point of Sale & Barcoding technology before being trusted to lead her own team in their Arizona office.  Under her management, that teams sales more than doubled and grew to over $230M in annual revenue.  Upon leaving, she began her first official role in the start-up space as COO for identity infrastructure company, Bandwagon Fan Club where she put her leadership skills to use in managing their national internship programs and contract negotiations.  It was in this environment of bright ideas, creativity, and "all-hands" attitude that she was inspired to be more intentional about fulfilling her own dreams.
